All our lives we are taught to appreciate that which we will never be able to truly appreciate, and to neglect that which we should focus on.
We are taught about the satisfaction derived from an artificial and external projection of power, position, wealth, possession and achievement.
Self Realization. Internalize the external.
The true realization of the joy of these attributes, is when you achieve the very same, but focusing inward, on yourself, on your soul, on your being. The path to Self Realization.
In our karmic journeys, the external is preordained. We are fools to waste our time chasing, cherishing, lusting.
We were born to fulfil our destinies, to live out our life in the path that is decided for us.
The best we can hope for is not control, but that our karmic balance stays maintained.
That we evolve, rather than degenerate.
Look inwards. As that is the starting line, for our journey out of this karmic prison, of cause and effect.
